Borderlands Project selected for Creative Partnerships Australia MatchLAB Program
Successful applicants for the Creative Partnerships Australia MatchLAB program 2018/19 were announced this month, and The Borderlands Project team were thrilled to learn their project had been accepted as one of 26 to take part in the program.
As part of the program, Borderlands team member Raelke Grimmer will fly to Melbourne during November for a two-day ‘Raising Money for Your Art’ workshop, where a fundraising campaign for the project will be developed. The campaign will be implemented in February 2019, and any eligible funds raised will be matched by Creative Partnerships Australia.
Being selected for the program not only enables the team to raise funds for Phase 2 of the project, creating an online pilot edition of the journal, but is also an opportunity for the team to develop skills in raising funds through philanthropy and non-government sources.
